The present privacy policy outlines how the Institute for an Industrial Safety Culture (hereinafter the ‘ICSI’) processes any personal data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter the ‘Personal Data’) with respect to the websites www.icsi-eu.org and www.safetyinpractice.org (hereinafter the ‘Websites’)

| 1. Who is responsible for the processing of personal data? |

 

The ICSI Association is responsible for the processing of your Personal Data with respect to the Websites, and its contact details are given below:

The ICSI undertakes to collect and process your Personal Data in accordance with European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 relating to the protection of personal data (‘GDRP’) and the French Data Protection Act 78-17 of 6 January 1978 in its current version.
Under this legislation, the ISCI commits to:

  • respect the purposes for which your Personal Data was collected;
  • obtain your prior and express consent before using your Personal Data for the purposes mentioned in articles 2.1.2 and 2.2.2 below;
  • not transmit your Personal Data to third parties without your prior and express consent;
  • implement reasonable security measures to protect your Personal Data;
  • inform you, by any means and without undue delay, in the event that the integrity, confidentiality and/or security of your Personal Data is compromised.

 

| 2. What personal data is collected and for what purposes? |

 

2.1.Data collected with respect to the Website www.icsi-eu.org

 

2.1.1.Data collected via the contact form

When you fill out the ICSI contact form, we collect the following Personal Data and other information:
your name and surname;

  • the name of your company, firm or entity, and your function within it;
  • your telephone number;
  • your email address;
  • your country;
  • any other information communicated by you when entering a message in the contact form.

The collection of this information is necessary to allow the ICSI to contact you and answer your questions.

 

2.1.2. Data used to send newsletters

When you fill out the form to receive the ICSI newsletters, we collect the following Personal Data:

  • your name and surname;
  • the name of your company, firm or entity, and your function within it;
  • your email address.

The collection of this information is necessary to allow the ICSI to send you newsletters.

With your express prior consent, the ICSI may use the Personal Data that is collected when you fill in the contact form to send you newsletters and other information related to the training and services offered by the ICSI.

You are free to withdraw your consent at any time. However, any processing that took place prior to the withdrawal of your consent will remain lawful.

 

 

2.2. Data collected with respect to the Website www.safetyinpractice.org

 

2.2.1. Data collected via forms related to requests for quotes and registration for training courses offered by the ICSI

When you fill out a form to a request a quote and/or registration for the training courses offered by the ICSI, we collect the following Personal Data and other information:

  • the identity of the company, business or entity concerned, in the form of the following information: company name, SIRET number, telephone number, postal address;
  • the identity of the administrative contact and/or the trainee(s) in the company, firm or entity in the form of the following information: surname, first name, position, telephone number, email address;
  • any other information communicated by you when entering a message in forms that are provided to request a quote and/or register for training.

The collection of this information is necessary to allow the ICSI to prepare the requested quote and/or to register for the requested training course.

 

2.2.2. Data used to send newsletters

With your express and prior consent, the ICSI may use the aforementioned Personal Data (collected when filling in forms to request a quote or register for training) to send you newsletters and other information related to the training and services offered by the ICSI.  

You are free to withdraw your consent at any time. However, any processing that took place prior to the withdrawal of your consent will remain lawful.

 

 

| 3. Who has access to your personal data? |

Only authorized ICSI personnel have access to your Personal Data for the above-mentioned purposes.

 

 

|4. What are your rights regarding your personal data? |

You have the following rights regarding the Personal Data that is collected:

  • to read, update, modify or request the deletion of your Personal Data;
  • to request the limitation and/or oppose the processing of your Personal Data that is collected via the Websites.

You may exercise the aforementioned rights by contacting the ICSI directly at the following email address: contact@icsi-eu.org.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés – www.cnil.fr) or any competent judge.

 

 

|5. Does the ICSI collect other information about you (Cookies)?|

The ICSI may use cookies when you browse the Websites.

Cookies are tools that can store data on your computer. They enable the Websites to send information to your browser, and enable that browser to send information back to the Websites (e.g., a session ID).

Cookies make it possible to record, while they are valid, status information when a browser accesses the various pages of the Websites, or when the browser subsequently returns to these Websites.

Only the sender of a cookie can read or modify the data contained therein.

Cookies used by the ICSI on its Websites are used exclusively to process statistics and information on Website traffic, to facilitate access and navigation, and to improve the services provided by the Websites.

If you decide to refuse Cookies, you will still be able to access and browse the Websites, however this action may lead to malfunctions and disruptions, and the ICSI has no liability in this case.
