The call for proposals shall follow the following calendar: 

October 30 2006	Deadline for project submissions
December 30 2006	Notification of project selection
(the remainder of the calendar concerns projects involving a PhD thesis)
February 2007	Start of the "pre-study" on industrial sites. The aim of the pre-study is to give researchers the opportunity to illustrate in the field (a company or organisation involved in hazardous activities) the problem that the research shall address. This period will be a first test of the proposed solutions.
end of May 2007	End of the pre-study
June 2007	Validation of the pre-study: FonCSI assesses the viability of the research project, ensures that the subject has practical applicability, reviews the proposed plan of work, the capacity of the research team and the PhD candidate to provide solutions to the problems identifed, the possibility of access to field sites.
October 2007	Start of the research work (and of the PhD thesis)
November 2007	Inaugural seminar for the research programme
October 2010	End of the research programme
